1.Project description:
Frivilligsentralen/ Fjaler Voluntary Service coordinate the voluntary projects for EVS in Dale /Flekke and give the volunteers the opportunity to come in contact with different people and tasks and to learn about daily living and culture of Fjaler and Norway. This is done by making a full week schedule. The tasks will be in kindergarden, school, library, leisure, with refugees, with the muicipality and in local volunteer organisations. According to the volunteers qualities , we will make the project to fit the volunteer and to help out in the local borough. The office of Frivilligsentralen will be the base and contact point for the volunteers.
2.Volunteer profile:
We are looking for openminded and flexible volunteers from different countries who like to spend a year in a rural community on the coast of the west part of Norway. Here you will take part in task and activities among children, youth, adults, refugees, mental challenged and eldery people. We expect you to bring qualities , ideas and input from your country and culture. Together we will build bridges for the future
3. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The four volunteers in Dale (including the volunteer at Dale vidaregåande skule) will share a well equipped house in the center of Dale. You will be given money for food and allowance.
